About the estate

The small family-owned Vinařství Knápek s.r.o. estate located in Strachotín in South Moravia was founded by František Knápek, who inherited his passion for viticulture from his father. In 1999, he and his four sons began planting their own vineyards in the Šusfeldy wine-growing tract. Today, the winery cultivates nearly 20 hectares of vineyards, offering a wide range of barrel and bottled Moravian wines of the Morava denomination. In 2016, a new winery building featuring an on-site guesthouse was opened in an elevated position above the vineyards.
