About the estate
The Vina Gjerkeš estate is located in the Goričko Nature Park in the village of Fikšinci. In 1992, the family began planting vineyards on the sites surrounding the house, cultivating grape varieties such as Laški Rizling, Renski Rizling, Chardonnay, Rumeni Muškat, and Sivi Pinot. The vineyards are managed through integrated production, a nature-friendly and controlled method of cultivation. Construction of a new, technologically advanced winery began in 2011 to ensure the highest standards for producing bottled wines. The estate is a member of the Association of Family Winemakers of Slovenia.
