The Vega Sicilia estate was acquired by the Álvarez family in 1982, laying the foundation for the company. Over the years, the winery expanded its portfolio through the creation and partnership of various wine-producing projects across different regions. These include ventures such as Alión and Pintia along the Duero river, as well as Oremus and Macán. The enterprise distributes its wines nationally and internationally for export.
