About the estate
The family-run Txakoli Galanta estate is located in Usansolo in the Basque Country and originates from a long-standing project by the Urrutikoetxea Garcia de Galdakao family, with the first plantings dating back to 2011. Surrounded by twelve hectares of vineyards situated on a hill, the winery cultivates the grape varieties Hondarribi Zuri and Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratia. The vineyards are managed sustainably, utilizing sheep for weed control and natural fertilization during the winter season. The winemaking process involves ageing on fine lees to enhance the aging potential of these structured and full-bodied wines.
