About the estate
The Tua Rita estate was founded in 1984 by Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti in Suvereto, in the heart of the Tuscan Colline Metallifere. The vineyard area has grown from an initial two hectares to 65 hectares today, all cultivated following the principles of sustainable agriculture. The gently sloping vineyards are nestled between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the hills in the Val di Cornia on soils rich in stones, clay, sand, and minerals. Today, the family business is managed by the third generation of the founders' descendants and achieves an annual production of around 300,000 bottles.
