About the estate
The family-owned Tickerage estate located in Uckfield has cultivated a five-acre vineyard on the edge of the Sussex Weald since 2007. Situated on north-facing slopes, the cool climate allows grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Regent and Rondo to ripen steadily. The winery specialises in handcrafted sparkling wines produced via the traditional method, often featuring extended lees ageing and low dosage. The portfolio is complemented by still wines and Col Fondo styles. All operations, from viticulture to bottling, are managed in-house at the custom-built winery.
The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. The estate sells to retail and distributors.
