About the estate
The Thurholt winery cultivates three small vineyards in the Brugse Ommeland located in Torhout and Baliebrugge, Belgium. As a regional pioneer, the first vines were planted about thirty years ago on the sandy soils of Sandy Flanders. With a total of 1500 vines, the focus is on an artisanal character and an annual production of around 1500 bottles. The portfolio includes white, rosé, red, and sparkling wines such as Thurholt witte parel and Thurholt rose parel. Vineyard management includes a gentle pruning method based on the Guyot system.
