About the estate
The Tenuta Morganti estate in Torano Nuovo in the Abruzzo region was founded in 1953 by Gino Morganti, who planted the first vineyards with Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo. Today, the family-run winery spans nearly six hectares of vineyards and is entirely managed by women. Following a comprehensive restoration by granddaughter Gaia in 2014 and the later involvement of her sister Sveva, the estate combines traditional agriculture with modern offerings such as accommodations in converted wooden barrels. In addition to wine, the production includes olive oil and honey.
