About the estate
Founded in 1991 by Peter Szigeti, the family-run Szigeti estate is located in Gols in the Lake Neusiedl region. The winery is among the pioneers in Austria producing single-varietal sparkling wine using the traditional method. The company places great emphasis on capturing the typical varietal characteristics of selected, sun-ripened grapes in its products. These sparkling specialties are available worldwide in gastronomy and specialized retail and regularly receive awards at international competitions.
The eno directory lists 28 wines, mostly from Welschriesling and Grüner Veltliner. The estate sells to retail, distributors and horeca.
