About the estate
The Szentesi Pince winery was established in 1998 by József Szentesi, whose ancestors as local Swabians from Budaörs have cultivated grapes and made wine for generations. The estate is dedicated to rediscovering old Hungarian grape varieties from the era before the phylloxera epidemic and advocates for winemaking without unnecessary interventions. The portfolio includes white, red, and sparkling wines produced from both white and black grapes. A portion of these wines is available commercially, while another part can only be tasted directly at the winery.
