About the estate

The Stiegelmar estate in Gols looks back on a long family tradition and was founded in 1956 by Johann and Theresia Stiegelmar. Today, the family-run winery cultivates 50 hectares of vineyards in the wine region around Lake Neusiedl. From the beginning, the focus has been on the red grape varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Sankt Laurent as well as autochthonous varieties, complemented by white varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Muskat Ottonel. Farming is carried out in a natural and sustainable manner with exclusively hand-harvested grapes from own production. In the cellar, the winery relies on gentle processing without artificial additives to preserve the individual character of the wines.

The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Grüner Veltliner. The estate sells to retail, horeca and importers. Export markets include Belgium, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland.
