About the estate
The Stéphane Magnien estate was founded in 1897 by Victor Magnien in Morey-Saint-Denis and is now managed in the fourth generation. Since the very first generation, the vineyards have never been treated with weed killers, relying instead on plowing to encourage deep root growth. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, followed by traditional vinification methods and aging in oak barrels. The wines are generally neither fined nor filtered to preserve the integrity of the product, the vintage, and the terroir. The portfolio aims to offer expressive wines that combine concentration with finesse and aromatic freshness.
