About the estate
The Sohm & Kracher winery was founded in 2009 by Aldo Sohm and Gerhard Kracher. The initiative is based on a long-standing friendship and a shared enthusiasm for indigenous grape varieties, particularly Grüner Veltliner. For viticulture, the Pulkautal region was chosen because it features old vineyards on special soil formations. Alongside the focus on Grüner Veltliner, the portfolio has since been expanded to include a Chardonnay. Tastings of the range take place at the Weinlaubenhof Kracher in Illmitz.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Chardonnay. The estate sells to horeca.
