The family-run Sekt und Wein - Walter Klein estate looks back on decades of winemaking tradition and is a pioneer in the field of grower sparkling wines in Illmitz. The vineyards are located in the Seewinkel region around Lake Neusiedl. The local microclimate favors the production of white sweet prädikat wines as well as the cultivation of full-bodied red wines. The portfolio ranges from autochthonous grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Blaufränkisch, and Zweigelt to international varieties including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.
