About the estate
Founded in 1742, the Schmitz-Schweicher estate has been run by the family for more than ten generations. The winery is located in the wine village of Schweich on the Moselle and bases its long tradition on the vineyards of the Schweicher Annaberg. The vineyard areas consist almost exclusively of steep slopes where the estate harvests its own grapes. In the cellar, the team produces varietal quality and prädikat wines characterised by distinct bouquets and high digestibility.
