About the estate

The BioWeingut Karl Renner is a family estate located in Pössnitz near Leutschach an der Weinstraße in South Styria, with roots in viticulture dating back to 1966. Spanning six hectares of vineyards, the estate is organically farmed and certified since 2015. The approach is based on biodynamic methods, healthy soils, and the cultivation of environmentally friendly Piwi grape varieties as a future-oriented alternative. In the cellar, minimal interventions are applied to bring the wines directly from the vine into the glass. The winery is operated across generations by Erwin and Walpurga Renner alongside Karl, Maria, and Laura Renner.
