About the estate
The Quinta de La Rosa estate is located in Northern Portugal within the Cima Corgo sub-region of the Douro Valley and encompasses 162 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards stretch from the riverbanks up to an altitude of 400 meters on schist soils with extremely varied topography. Production focuses mainly on red wines and port, while white wines have grown in stature in recent years. The estate is known for elegant, fresh wines that express their terroir. Additionally, the Bergqvist family purchased the 100-hectare Quinta do Passagem property in the Douro Superior in 2005.
