About the estate
The Quinta Alto da Serra estate was founded in 2015 by Joana Roque do Vale and Luis Soares Duarte as a small wine and ecotourism project. Through the acquisition of small plots over a period of four years, the winery comprises seven hectares of vineyards located in a natural setting at an altitude of 610 meters. Farming follows minimalist and regenerative principles within an untouched environment. The production includes various wines ranging from fresh, unoaked styles to complex long-aged wines, as well as port.
