About the estate
The Pošip poljoprivredna zadruga Čara winery is located on the island of Korčula and was founded in 1984. More than one hundred winegrowers cultivate the vineyards in the fertile Čarsko polje on red soil rich in stone and limestone. The work in the traditional vineyards is carried out predominantly by hand. The focus is on the indigenous grape varieties Pošip and Rukatac, from which high-quality white wines are produced. Modern cellar technology is combined here with thousands of years of winemaking tradition.
