About the estate

The OPG Lovrec Krešimir estate is located in Sveti Urban, Croatia, and operates as a multi-generational family winery. In the 1990s, Prof. Franjo Lovrec revived the winemaking tradition before his son Krešimir took over management, making it the first winery in the Međimurje region to transition to certified organic production in 2015. The property is home to the oldest preserved cellar in upper Međimurje dating back to the 16th century, alongside an ethnographic collection. The portfolio features authentic white grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Green Sylvaner, Rhine Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Yellow Muscat, Graševina, and Traminer, as well as traditionally produced sparkling wines, rosé, and Merlot.

The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Sivi Pinot and Zeleni silvanac. The estate sells to retail.
