About the estate
The Murmur y Môr estate is situated in the serene landscape above Tremadog Bay, cradled against the Rhinog Mountains within Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Initiated by Mark and Tabitha Lewis, the project emerged from a fascination with the winemaking history of Wales. The vineyard currently cultivates about 1,300 vines across five different varietals, with plans to plant an additional 1,700 vines and three new varieties in 2026. Furthermore, a winery is being added in 2025 to produce wine directly within the Welsh terrain.
