About the estate
The Martin Mayer winery in Halbturn has been run by the Mayer family in the third generation since the 1950s, before Martin Mayer founded the estate in 2021. He gained experience through various internships at home and abroad as well as at the Klosterneuburg Federal College and Training Institute for Viticulture and Pomology. The goal of the estate is to produce region-specific and variety-typical wines. In doing so, the winemaker combines traditional methods with new facets to realize his own visions.
