About the estate
The Maier vlg. Winkelbauer estate is located in the municipality of Eichberg / Trautenburg in South Styria. Around the turn of the century, the ancestors already operated a small winery and supplied local innkeepers and traders with wine. Over time, the business was expanded through the acquisition of vineyards and structural developments. Today, the traditional family-run estate produces between 15,000 and 20,000 liters of wine per year from sustainable agriculture. In addition to winemaking, the enterprise offers a traditional rustic tavern and farm holidays.
