About the estate

The Mahorko estate looks back on a family history that began in 1947 with the purchase of the property in South Styria by grandfather Valentin Mahorko. Over three generations, the establishment has evolved into a destination combining viticulture and tourism. Today, Helmut Mahorko manages the wine production, while Irena Mahorko leads the business operations. In addition to working in the vineyards, the family also raises water buffalo. The wines are served to visitors in the estate's own tasting cellar.
