About the estate
The Georg Lunzer winery is run by Georg Lunzer in Gols in the Burgenland region. A graduate of the Klosterneuburg viticulture school, he took over the family business after graduating from high school and converted it entirely to organic farming in 1995. Vineyard management practices include green cover crops, preventive care, pruning for yield reduction, and the promotion of biodiversity. In the cellar, the grapes are processed with great care using modern technology in harmony with nature.
