About the estate
The LU.VA. winery was founded in 2000 in Modigliana by Luciano and Valerio Ciani, continuing an old family tradition. The owners cultivate a total vineyard area of seven hectares, located at altitudes ranging from 185 to 380 meters above sea level. The cultivated grape varieties include Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are trained using the Guyot system. From these grapes, approximately 17,000 bottles of wine are produced annually, with all stages from vineyard management to bottling handled directly by the owners.
