About the estate
The La Ferriera estate is located in Atina within a historic former iron foundry built in 1858. The winery cultivates about 20 hectares of vineyards in the Colle Alto and La Ferriera estates in the heart of the Cabernet Atina DOC. The vineyards are situated on marly-silt soils at an altitude of 350 meters in the Comino Valley. The grape varieties grown include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, alongside several white varieties. Vinification follows traditional methods with skin contact fermentation and aging in French oak barrels.
