About the estate
The family-run estate Inga Schmitt Weine from Oberemmel is managed in the third generation with the mission to reflect the diversity of the Saar region. The team includes Inga Schmitt with a degree in viticulture and enology, David, master winemaker Ludwin Schmitt, and Andreas. The portfolio includes white wines such as Riesling, mild Burgundies, fruity cuvées, red wines, rosé, as well as spirits and liqueurs. The white wines are aged spontaneously and traditionally in the cool barrel cellar. The vineyards and the terroir of Oberemmel impart a delicate minerality to the wines.
