About the estate
The indoVino - Az. Agr. Citterio Mattia estate is located in Indovero, Italy, and traces its origins back to a project initiated by Marino and Mattia Citterio in 2012. In the Valsassina region, which has historically been known for metalworking and dairy farming, the father-and-son team pursued the goal of establishing viticulture at an altitude of nearly 900 meters. The steep and well-draining vineyards preclude any mechanical intervention due to their challenging topography. Consequently, all vineyard management operations are carried out strictly by hand.
