About the estate
The Hiša frankinje estate is located in Krško and looks back on a long-standing viticultural tradition rooted in the gravelly ridges of the Dolenjska region. In 2012, a modern winery was established on the estate right where the first Blaufränkisch vineyard was originally planted. Today, this grape variety forms the core of the portfolio, yielding seven different styles ranging from classic reds and rosés to sparkling wines, liqueur wine, and sweet creations from dried grapes. The selection is rounded out by traditional Cviček and white wines produced from varieties such as Kerner, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris.
