About the estate

Hanwell Wine Estate is a family-run winery located in Nottinghamshire, with roots dating back to the establishment of its predecessor vineyard in the 1970s. Today, the estate is led by the second generation of the family and cultivates 8000 vines planted with the champagne varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The vines are carefully hand-tended and harvested by hand with the help of family, local employees, and volunteers. The production focuses on English sparkling wine crafted using the traditional method. Alongside winemaking, the estate offers direct sales from the cellar door and is actively expanding its trade partnerships.
