About the estate

The Gross estate is located on the Nussberg hill in South Styria and is currently managed by Martina and Johannes Gross as a family business. The history of the winery dates back to 1907, when the foundation for the winemaking family was established. Across twelve hectares of vineyards, the winemakers cultivate steep slopes such as Nussberg, Perz, and Sulz. The portfolio features classic regional white grape varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Yellow Muscat, and Welschriesling. Farming is conducted organically and by hand, allowing the wines ample time to mature through extended aging.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Gelber Muskateller. The estate sells to retail, horeca and distributors. Export markets include Belgium, Croatia, Germany and Italy.
