About the estate
The Gremeli Wine estate is situated in the historically important region of Kakheti in the village of Gremi, surrounded by the Great Caucasus mountains. The family winemaking tradition dates back to the beginning of the 19th century and has been preserved through many generations. The vineyards are located in a unique terroir known as the Royal vineyards. The estate works without chemicals in the vineyards and produces organic wines. Fermentation and aging take place in traditional underground Qvevri amphorae.
