Gotberg

About the estate

The Gotberg estate was established in 2003 and is located in the picturesque village of Popice in the Mikulov sub-region of Moravia. The winery cultivates 56 hectares of vineyards on the gentle slopes of the Hustopeče highlands with southern and southeastern exposures. Key grape varieties grown on the estate include Gewürztraminer, Rhine Riesling, and Pálava. Viticulture is practiced using sustainable and organic methods, producing wines exclusively from the estate's own grapes. The modern winery building, partially embedded into the terrain, represents contemporary wine architecture.
