About the estate
The Flurlweber winery, based in Lang in South Styria, cultivates vineyards in the Flamberg and Lechenberg sites. The vineyard areas are characterized by varying soil conditions, such as calcareous loose-sediment brown earth and calcareous raw cultivation soils derived from loamy-silty Tertiary material. Grape varieties such as Welschriesling, Yellow Muskateller, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Zweigelt thrive on these west- and south-facing parcels. Cultivation takes into account the specific climatic conditions and hours of sunshine at the respective locations.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.
