About the estate
The agricultural estate Finca Valonga comprises sixty hectares of vineyards alongside olive groves and walnut plantations. Located in the heart of the vineyard, the winery combines tradition with modern technology to process the grapes individually. The vines grow at an altitude of three hundred meters on shallow, clayey-limestone soils in a very dry climate. The grape varieties cultivated include Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, Syrah, Moscatel de grano menudo, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate also engages in the production of olive oil and walnuts.
The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Grenache. The estate sells to retail.
