About the estate
The family winery Finca Rio Negro was founded in 1998 by the Fuentes family in Cogolludo in the Guadalajara region, reviving the area's historical winemaking tradition. The estate is situated in an exceptional setting bordering the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara Natural Park at an altitude that challenges traditional cultivation limits. Covering 42 hectares of vineyards, the property benefits from unique climatic conditions and soils that shape the character of the estate. Today, the wines are exported to more than twenty countries and reflect the distinct personality of this unique terroir.
