About the estate
The Finca La Estacada winery was founded in 2001 by the Cantarero Rodríguez family and is located on a plot called La Estacada, a name with Roman origins linked to an ancient road. The estate currently manages 278 hectares of vineyards featuring clay soils with a limestone substrate situated in elevated positions on the slopes. For wine maturation, the property utilizes an underground barrel cellar with a capacity for 3,000 French and American oak barrels. Harvesting is organized according to variety, beginning in late August with white grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc and concluding in late October with Petit Verdot.
