About the estate
The Ferienweingut Andrae-Goebel estate is located in the wine-growing village of Ernst on the Moselle and is run by the winemaker family Petra and Martin Andrae. Across four hectares of vineyards, grapes from six different varieties are cultivated, with a primary focus on Riesling alongside varieties such as Müller-Thurgau, Elbling, Kerner, Dornfelder, and Pinot Noir. The vineyards are situated in locations including the Valwiger Schwarzenberg, Ellenzer Domherrenberg, and Cochemer Klostergarten, with about 35 percent located in steep slopes and terraces. The vineyards are managed sustainably and close to nature with manual harvesting, while the wines are aged in the traditional cellar in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels.
