About the estate
The Dropmore Vineyard estate was founded in 2008 by John Petersen and his wife Feona on the fringes of Buckinghamshire's Burnham Beeches. Inspired by a trip to New Zealand, the founders turned their vision into a reality, and today Feona Petersen continues to develop the legacy. Cultivating five grape varieties including Bacchus, Chardonnay, Ortega, Meunier, and Pinot Noir, the winery produces both sparkling wines and still dry wines. The portfolio features offerings such as a gently oaked Ortega white wine and two sparkling wines. Sales are conducted through the estate shop, and visits are strictly by prior appointment only.
