About the estate

The Domeniul Ciumbrud estate is situated in the historic vineyards along the banks of the Mureș and looks back on centuries of tradition. The vineyards are located on sunny slopes near the river, benefiting from exceptional climate and soil conditions. The alternation between warm days and cool nights leads to a slow ripening process that preserves primary aromas in perfect balance with a fine acidity. The product range includes various white and rosé wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling de Rhin, Pinot Noir Rosé, Traminer, Roza de Ciumbrud, and Pinot Gris. Natural conditions combined with the skill of the winemaker shape the character of these wines from the Transylvanian vineyards.
