Domeniile Sescu

About the estate

The Domeniile Sescu winery is located in the hills of Herneacova in the Banat region and produces wines under the Recaș DOC denomination. The estate was founded through the realization of a personal vision, focusing on creating new traditions rather than inheriting historic vineyards. The viticulture strictly follows organic farming methods, avoiding pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers to protect environmental biodiversity. The artisan winemaking relies on minimal intervention to preserve the authenticity of the grape varieties and the terroir. For the maturation of the wines, Romanian oak barrels are used to impart depth and complexity.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate sells to retail.
