About the estate
The Domeniile Lebada Neagra winery was founded in 2016 by Calin Pop and is located in the Sarica Niculițel vineyard region in Dobruja, near the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve. The estate covers 30 hectares of vineyards planted with Aligote, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Fetească Neagră. The local pedoclimatic conditions, characterized by northern exposure, nearby river lakes, and forests, impart distinct characteristics to the wines. Winemaking relies on modern technology under the supervision of oenologist Marian Andries.
