About the estate
The Domaine Philippe Raimbault estate has been managed as a family business across thirteen generations, cultivating vineyards on both sides of the Loire River. The holdings span the Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, and Coteaux du Giennois appellations, where Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Gamay are planted. The steep slopes and clay-limestone soils rest upon a Jurassic geological foundation containing marine fossils. The winery places a strong emphasis on protecting nature and preserving biodiversity, which is formally certified. The underground cellar is located at the foot of the Les Godons terroir in the village of Sury-en-Vaux.
