About the estate

The Domaine Les Vaucorneilles estate was founded in 1998 by Christine and Gilles Chelin and is located on the banks of the Loire in the Pays des Châteaux. The winery cultivates 13.65 hectares of vineyards within the Touraine-Mesland appellation. The soils on the plateaus feature sands, clays, flints, and quartz gravel, alongside widely outcropping Miocene clayey sands. The production encompasses red wines, rosé wines known as Gris de Touraine Mesland, white wines made from Chenin, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon, as well as sparkling wines produced via the traditional method.
