About the estate
The Domaine Edegger estate is located in Badacsony between Lake Balaton and the Badacsony volcano. Established in 2000, the family-owned winery cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards in Kápolna, Helbeck, Nemesgulacs, Aczel, Hetzmann, and Salföld. Hailing from Styria, Austria, the family produces certified organic white and red wine varieties within the Balaton Uplands National Park. The vineyards are farmed according to biological-organic guidelines, entirely free from synthetic sprays or fining agents, and hold certification from Bio Garancia. In 2019, the estate opened a new winery facility featuring tasting rooms and accommodations.
