About the estate
The Domaine des Damoiselles estate has been run by winemakers Catherine and Patrice Retif since 1985. The 25-hectare vineyard is planted on limestone tuffeau plateaus overlooking the Loire River across the municipalities of Parnay, Turquant, and Montsoreau. Since the 2021 harvest, the winery has been certified organic and is actively engaged in various eco-friendly initiatives, including water management, photovoltaic electricity production, and hedge planting. Visitors can also explore the estate's extensive historic cellars located in former tuffeau quarries.
