About the estate

The Domaine de Pouilly - Vincent Besson winery looks back on a history of more than 150 years, having been founded in the 19th century by the Thévenet and Bourdon families. Today, François, Sylvie, Antoine and Benoit continue to run the family estate in the southern Mâconnais region. Spanning across eight municipalities, the estate cultivates 45 parcels exclusively with the Chardonnay grape variety. The production comprises six different appellations, including Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran, which are vinified in modern facilities. Operations are based across two production sites located in Pouilly and Vergisson.
