About the estate

Located in Saint-Macaire-des-Bois in Anjou, the Domaine de la Treille estate is run by the fourth generation of a family originating from Poland and Belgium, who took over the property in 2014 following its establishment in 2008. The estate spans 42 hectares of vineyards on an atypical terroir with clay, silt, and sand soils situated on a geological fault line between the Paris Basin and the Armorican Massif. Organic farming practices promote biodiversity, complemented by planted hedges, agroforestry, and a modern, sustainable winery building equipped with photovoltaic panels. The vineyards are cultivated with traditional grape varieties including Cabernet, Chenin, Chardonnay, and Grolleau to produce certified organic wines.
