About the estate
The Domaine Clos des Mailles estate is located in the heart of Anjou within the Loire Valley region and looks back on a winegrowing tradition spanning four generations. In 2005, François Rullier established the winery starting with ten hectares of vineyards, which have since expanded to 32 hectares across multiple municipalities. The soils of the vineyards are highly diverse and feature tuffeau, schist, marl, clay, and sand. The portfolio includes various white, rosé, and red wines, encompassing regional appellations such as Anjou and Crémant de Loire. One third of the harvest is conducted manually, while the remaining portion is harvested by machine.
